the safety of our clients' data is our highest priority

Ipso e-care establishes a direct communication between the participating parties (counselor and client). During this so called Peer-to-Peer (P2P) connection, video- and audio-stream are transmitted directly between the two browsers (computer-to-computer) - no need for server interaction. A server is only necessary, to introduce the two browsers (in this case the IP adresses of counselor and client) to initiate a consultation. Everything else works without the involvement of a streaming server.

Data theft usually occurs, when the server which is designated for the data storage or data transmition gets „hacked“ (the data is being stolen, by copying it to a secondary unit). The Patientus software prevents this by establishing a direct connection between the participating web browsers during the online consultation, because in this way the data does not need to be redirected by a server. Of course the P2P-connection is protected by the latest security standards - Result: private information remains private.
